Inspiration

I have always found this image inspirational, so much so that I have a 3 foot poster of it hanging in my office. This is one of NASAs many space shuttle launches. What I love about it is the color, the contrast, and how effectively the photo blends a major feat of science and engineering along with a beautiful image.

I try to do this in my work as well; create technically sound and unique things while also capturing design, art, and beauty. It is my personal belief that everything we make/do should be inspired. The history of the word itself traces back to mean an impartation of truth. I think that this still holds true. When we make or do we should have a main idea, a goal, a cause and embed that into our work. I strive to do this and hope that you do as well.
